    Happy New Year

If last year was the year of Ironman this year will be the year of domestication.  It will start out with Boston then we will be getting married on the summer solstice in Anchorage Alaska.  I will do the Midnight Sun Marathon and Sue will do the half.  It will be a crazy year with us trying to sell two houses and blend these families.  We are both very excited and know that God will sort it out because we are doing the right thing.  Skyler is so excited he can’t wait to have Ben and Alex for brothers.  He is so proud of Nick now and I can only hope that Nick knows what a great influence he is on all of the boys.  The boys all seem to be enthusiastic about the changes that are coming.  They are awesome kids and are handling it all wonderfully.  They know they have been considered in every decision we have made so that seems to have helped.

Anyone that knows me knows that Alaska is a love of mine.  My fiancé is the perfect woman for me because she knows that a part of me will always be there.  When we were deciding what to do for wedding we knew we wanted to make the event as special as possible.  So I threw out “If you asked me what would the most special wedding for me I said it would be under the midnight sun in Anchorage on the Solstice.  I expected Sue to laugh at me but her eyes lit up.  The next thing you know we had flights.  We are renting a motor home and the boys will be going so it will be a great experience for all of us.  I will post the itinerary as we make the plans.  It ought to be quite a trip.
